FAQS
Find the answers to common questions about our education washroom solutions, from materials to maintenance.
What materials are used for education toilet cubicles?
While High Pressure Laminate (HPL) has traditionally been used in education washrooms, at Concept we recommend Compact Grade Laminate (CGL) for its superior durability and resistance to misuse or vandalism.
What sizes are school toilet cubicles?
British Standards and Department for Education guidance specify requirements for each Key Stage, which we outline on our product pages. However, individual schools and local authorities may have their own preferences for cubicle heights and depths, particularly regarding privacy. We can provide bespoke options – including reduced floor gaps or taller cubicles – to meet your specific needs.
Do education toilet cubicles need to follow Approved Document T?
Primary and secondary schools follow British Standards and Department for Education guidance, not Part T. However, further education facilities should consider Part T as part of their design compliance.
What environments are classed as ‘education’?
The education sector covers all age groups from nursery through to further education. Some university projects may also fall under this category, though they may benefit from exploring our Commercial range for a more premium aesthetic.
Are education washroom products expensive?
Not at all. At Concept Washrooms, we offer products to suit a wide range of budgets. All our ranges are designed to be cost-effective, often providing savings compared to alternative suppliers.

Do you offer surveys for school washroom projects?
Yes. After an initial consultation, we’ll assess whether a site survey is required. If so, we can arrange a visit at a convenient time.
Where do you supply school toilet cubicles?
We supply and deliver our education washroom solutions across the UK.
Do you offer installation for education toilet cubicles?
Yes. Our products are available on a supply-only basis or with a full supply and installation service, depending on your project needs.
Can you help with vandal-resistant or anti-social behaviour issues in school washrooms?
Absolutely. We work closely with schools and architects to design bespoke cubicle systems that enhance privacy and durability. Options include tamper-proof fixings, reinforced materials, and layouts that discourage misuse while maintaining a modern, welcoming look.
